• Was a 4 year starter for the UTEP softball team in the years 2006-2009. 
• She started at 3rd base and hit in the top half of the line up. 
• In her four years of playing she managed to receive 2 Conference USA Hitter of the week awards in 2006 and 2009, along with being mentioned as honorary hitter of the week in 2007. 
• Amber also made the Freshmen All Conference USA Team in 2006 and made the second team All-Conference USA in 2008. 
• She holds the record for the most Hits, Walks, and Hit by pitch at UTEP.
